Quick meals for the week before Christmas

I am sure you do not have time to cook in the week before Christmas so here you have a list of quick meals for the week before Christmas.


To serve for dinner or lunch: Salad with caraway seeds and chicken ready in 15 minutes or if you have already boiled potatoes, another quick salad, ready in 5 minutes: German salad with sweet potatoes.










As for a healthy low in calories dinner, you may want to try a quick meal ready in 5 minutes: Apple and sunflower seeds salad.

Sweet sour sauce for apple salad

Ok, so I was thinking to make a white sweet sour sauce for my  apple salad with sunflower seeds.


You will need 1 cup of greek yogurt, 2 spoons of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of olive oil, salt, pepper, mint powder and thyme powder. Mix together for 3 minutes and add to the apple salad with sunflower seeds.

Quick salad for a healthy meal

A quick salad with mushrooms, carrots and tomatoes can make a perfect dish for lunch or dinner if you don't have time to cook.


In less than 15 minutes, you can eat a healthy salad:



For one person: mix 4 fresh mushrooms chopped with 1 fresh carrot chopped and 2 fresh tomatoes chopped with one spoon of olive oil and salt and pepper and put to the mocrowave for 7 minutes.

Chutney sauce for a quick dinner.


Chutney sauce for my recipe: german salad with sweet potatoes.


It is easy to prepare the chutney sauce: peel 5 oranges, chop the oranges and mix with the orange juice and one orange peel chopped for 30 minutes on slow cook.


Add 5 spoons sugar and 1 chili fine chopped and leave it for 5 minute on the oven and stir.


It can be served with roasted cheese.


Enjoy the chutney sauce for the quick dinner.

Quick healthy meal: penne with zucchini, eggplant and basil


I want to share with you my recipe of penne with zucchini, eggplant and basil I make for my mom.
I boil penne pasta for 12 minutes.

Separately, I fry for 5 minutes 2 garlic clovers with 1 onion finely chopped and 1 small zucchini and 1 small eggplant finely chopped.

For a new taste, I add 1 tomato and 1 cup mozzarella and paprika one teaspoon.

And of course, the basil on top.

Enjoy penne with zucchini, eggplant and basil, a quick healthy meal.

Quick healthy meal: apple with carrots and peanuts

This recipe is my favorite, because I love to eat apples and carrots. 

And the salad is so easy to prepare it and in 3 minutes is ready!
You can serve it as breakfast or lunch. 
You can serve it with nachos or ........just fresh.




Cut and peel two carrots with one apple, half of a celery and one cup of salted peanuts. Mix and ground the ingredients with a kitchen mixer and.......eat!

I should let you know my recipe for Apple Salad with Sunflower seeds. My small daughter likes it alot and she eats one time per week. As breakfast.


Ingredients for 4 persons:
 - 2 big apple chopped
- 2 orange chopped
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 2 teaspoons raw honey


Served warm.

Ingredients for a salad for 4 persons:


- 1 curly lettuce chopped
- 1 corn can
- 4 tomatoes chopped
- 4 cucumbers copped
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 teaspoons caraway seeds
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- black pepper powder
- salt
- olive oil
- mint powder
- sweet paprika powder




Mix the ingredients and leave it for 2 Hours and serve cold.


This summer salad is perfect for dinner, but you can serve it at lunch with nachos or tortilla.

Quick healthy meal:


Salad with caraway seeds, corn, tomatoes and roasted chicken.

Delicious and ready in 5 minutes (if you have some roasted chicken leftovers).


For four persons:


Mix 4 tomatoes with 4 cucumbers, 1 green pepper, 1 large onion, 1 cup of corn and 1 cup of roasted chicken leftovers. Add one teaspoon of olive oil, 1 spoon of caraway seeds, salt and pepper.
If you like the taste, you can add two teaspoons of lemon juice. I prefer without.


Enjoy the salad with caraway seeds, tomatoes and chicken, a quick healthy meal!

Quick healthy meal: summer time veggie salad




Quick healthy meal: 


Let's prepare a quick meal, a summertime veggies salad for you and your kids.
For four persons:


Rinse with cold water and chop 4 tomatoes, 4 cucumbers, 2 green onions, 1 big salad, salt and pepper and 1 cup of corn. Add a bit of fresh lemon juice and mix all the ingredients. Serve with french toast.


An unique flavor is given by the special sauce made from 1 cup fresh celery root fine chopped mixed with 1 fine chopped fresh carrot, 1 cup yogurt, 1 cup sour cream, 1 teaspoon mustard and 1 teaspoon mayonnaise.


Enjoy the summer time veggie salad, a quick healthy meal!
