Dinner for kids potatoes with sesame seeds

Easy to prepare, tasty and healthy is this dinner for kids: potatoes with sesame seeds.

Peel twenty small potatoes and cut in four pieces, and three-four spoons of olive oil or sunflower oil into a pan, add the potatoes, four spoons of sesame seeds, salt, pepper, chili, thyme, caraway seeds and if you like pine seeds. Let in the oven for 45 minutes and serve with sour cream on top.

Dried tomatoes, onion and cucumbers with yogurt mayonnaise

Dried tomatoes, onion and cucumbers with yogurt mayonnaise is a quick salad for hot days, it is ready in 10 minutes.

It is healthy, quick, cheap and very tasty.



For a salad for two persons, you need three fresh tomatoes, one dried tomato, five fresh cucumbers, a cup of chopped onion, a cup of shredded dried cheese.


For the sauce, you must have three hard boiled egg yolks, two cups yogurt, two spoons sour cream, one small chilli, fennel, salt and pepper.


Nothing cooked, everything fresh and full of vitamins and minerals.

Hummus made in home with lemon ready in 10 minutes

Hummus made in home with lemon ready in 10 minutes - here you have the recipe and my final meal photo, ready to eat it.







You'll need 200 g garbanzo beans boiled for two Hours, 4-5 garlic cloves, 1 lemon juice, salt, white pepper,  4 spoons olive oil, one small onion. Everything mixed in the kitchen mixer for a few minutes and that's it. Ready to spread all over the bread. Try to have garlic bread or onion bread, it is more tasty the hummus made in homw with lemon, ready in 10 minutes.

Salsa sauce with ginger

I like to add ginger to my salsa sauce.

I prefer to serve my salsa sauce with boiled wild rice.

For my salsa sauce with ginger, you need four fresh chopped tomatoes, three fine chopped garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of fine chopped ginger, salt, pepper, fresh parsley, a pinch of chili and I add 2 teaspoons of fine chopped fresh carrots. 

Boil for five minutes and serve with rice, meat, fish or even roasted chicken.

Chopped tofu with lettuce and caraway seeds is the perfect 10 minutes meal!


Starting with my  lettuce, corn and mint salad, add chopped tofu and sun-dried tomato instead of the fresh tomatoes.


It can be serve as a light dinner or for a hungry husband, add roasted chicken breast.

Beetroot salad for a quick meal




Beetroot salad is very healthy and you can prepare it once and save it for 2 weeks.


A quick meal with some roasted chicken leftovers and a beetroot salad is perfect and easy to prepare.

Beetroot is high in vitamin C, low in carbohydrates and calories, it is perfect if you want to loose weight. A raw beetroot can be sliced and mixed with lemo juice, parsley, olive oil and I add ginger like a spoon of sliced ginger to 300-400g beetroot.

Please note, beetroot salad is well known to fight cancer, it is a good meal for a cancer patient.
